‘Terrorist garden’ in Jerusalem destroyed

Israeli police demolished on Tuesday an unauthorized community garden in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras al-Amud.

The garden, which was dedicated to the memories of 47 dead terrorists, included pictures and memorial placards for each terrorist.

The “Martyrs’ Garden” was established three weeks ago to honor Arab terrorists killed while carrying out violent attacks on Jews during the ongoing terror wave.

Jerusalem city officials noted that the garden was established on state land and had not received municipal authorization.

The garden, which included olive saplings for each of the slain terrorists, was also adorned with anti-Israel, pro-terrorist graffiti.

Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan responded to the demolition, calling the community garden a form of terrorist incitement.

“I welcome the quick and determined action taken in Ras al-Amud. The police will continue to act decisively against every form of incitement and support of terrorism in the State of Israel, no matter if it’s at memorial sites for terrorists, at funerals, from the muezzins, or on social media,” he said.
