Ibrahim Dawabsha a key witness in the Duma arson trial which began earlier this month, told police that unknown assailants set his house on fire overnight.
A relative of the three Dawabsha family members killed in an arson attack last summer, Dawabsha is set to testify in the trial of Amiram Ben-Uliel and a 17-year-old alleged accomplice.
Dawabsha claims that his bedroom window was broken and the house set on fire early Sunday morning in an apparent arson attack, AP reported. While he was uninjured in the attack, his wife suffered from smoke inhalation.
In a separate incident, in Jerusalem overnight attackers set fire to the Beit Orot yeshiva. According to Channel 2, Molotov cocktails were hurled at the yeshiva Saturday night, causing serious damage. There were no wounded in the incident.
