Woman Stabbed at Binyamin’s Adam Junction

A 19-year-old Israeli woman was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon in a terrorist stabbing north of Jerusalem, at the Adam Junction, in the Binyamin region.

Initial reports indicate that two terrorists approached the young woman and stabbed her in the upper body and neck.

Israel Police confirmed that one of the terrorists was killed by security forces standing nearby; the second terrorist was arrested at the scene. The Square has been blocked to traffic.

Magen David Adom teams provided the woman with primary medical care and evacuated her to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.

MDA emergency medical technician, Assaf Ben Artzi, who arrived first on the scene, recounted: “A 19-year-old woman was lying on a dirt road next to the street. She was stabbed in the upper body and people were giving her first aid with MDA guidance from over the phone.”

“We gave her life-saving medical treatment on scene to stop the bleeding and she was taken by an MDA vehicle to the hospital. Her condition is serious, but she is fully conscious.”

Earlier on Wednesday, a police officer was lightly wounded in a car terror attack at the British Police Junction in the Binyamin region of Samaria, north of Jerusalem.

In the incident, the Arab driver refused orders to stop for a security check and ran into a Border Police checkpoint, lightly wounding the officer.

The Arab driver then got out of his car and fled on foot to the adjacent Arab village of Silwad.
